Chief Executive Officer

Todd Zegers

Todd Zegers brings a wealth of experience, entrepreneurial spirit, and a passion for innovation to his role as CEO of CXtec. With nearly two decades of leadership in IT asset disposition (ITAD) and reverse logistics, Todd has been a driving force in shaping sustainable, customer-focused technology solutions that deliver real value. 

Todd began his ITAD journey in 2003 as co-founder of GreenAssetDisposal, serving Fortune 1000 clients with secure asset recovery solutions. After driving its growth and eventual acquisition by CloudBlue in 2009, he led sales and marketing until CloudBlue became part of Ingram Micro in 2013. From 2015 to 2022, Todd served as Ingram Micro’s global leader for ITAD and Reverse Logistics, setting industry benchmarks with innovative programs.

Beyond his professional achievements, Todd is committed to education, environmental stewardship, and philanthropy. He has participated in the Executive Education Program at Stanford University and the FANE Program at Columbia University and has served as a member of the e-Stewards Leadership Council and the Coalition for American Electronics Recycling (CAER). Todd’s dedication to community impact includes his role as a Board Member of the Orange County United Way, where he chaired the United for Financial Security Chapter, and as Vice President of the Super Charlie Foundation, supporting families facing medical challenges

Tim Duffy

Tim Duffy is the President of TERACAI. He is responsible for leading the strategic growth of the business through sales; professional services and engineering; and all day-to-day operations.

Tim has been with TERACAI since 2010 and previously served as the Vice President of Professional Services. In addition, he previously held positions as VP and GM, Chief Technology Officer, and Director of Professional Services at CXtec. He has more than 30 years of sales and sales management experience. His industry experience includes various roles for the Cisco Advisory Council, Ingram Micro, and Trust X Alliance.

He is very active in the Central New York community, serving as a board member for the Syracuse Teacher Center and First Tee Syracuse. He previously served as a board member for Leadership Greater Syracuse. He is a 2008 graduate of Leadership Greater Syracuse and was a 2015 recipient of the LGS Alumni Achievement Award. In 2007 he was a recipient of Central New York Business Journal’s “40 Under 40” Award for his business accomplishments and community involvement.

Chief Revenue Officer

Brent Berry

Brent Berry is the Chief Revenue Officer of CXtec, where he leads the development and execution of the company’s sales and revenue strategies, driving growth and expanding market presence across diverse industries.

With over 20 years of leadership experience in sales strategy, reverse logistics, and supply chain management, Brent is known for building high-performing teams and delivering innovative service solutions. His expertise and hands-on approach are key to strengthening CXtec as the leader in IT lifecycle solutions.

Before joining CXtec, Brent held senior leadership roles at organizations such as Flash Global, Ingram Micro, Arrow Electronics, and SYNCREON, where he excelled in executing strategic initiatives and fostering strong customer relationships.

Outside of work, Brent enjoys golfing, hunting, and spending time with his family. He is also a dedicated board member of the Super Charlie Foundation, supporting children and families affected by pediatric cancer. Brent’s vision and passion for achieving results position him as a vital leader for the ongoing success and growth of CXtec.

VP & Chief Financial Officer

Paul Hatty

Paul Hatty is the Vice President and Chief Financial Officer of CXtec and TERACAI where he is responsible for the financial leadership and direction of both organizations. He also works closely with the CEO and rest of the leadership team in executing the business strategy and vision of the organizations.

Paul has over 30 years of multinational experience in Financial Management in various global industries including glass, building materials, HVAC, packaging, outdoor products, and dairy. This experience includes over the last 10 years being a Vice President or CFO in closely held, private equity, and public companies.

He is a highly operational and strategic business leader who works across all functions and disciplines throughout the organization. He has significant experience in change management as well as building, strengthening and maintaining teams. Paul has a track record of increasing shareholder value and creating and enhancing value through cost reduction initiatives, M&A work, IPO’s and sponsor liquidation events.

Vice President of Human Resources

Tawney Crystal

Tawney Crystal is the Vice President of Human Resources for TERACAI and CXtec, where she is responsible for leading and directing the overall management of human resources services, policies and programs to support the long-term goals of both companies.

Tawney has more than 14 years of experience in human resources and is skilled in the areas of benefits and compensation, employee relations, organizational development, performance management and recruitment. She has been with TERACAI and CXtec for 12 years and has previously served in the roles of human resources specialist and manager. Tawney also has human resources experience in the manufacturing industry.

She earned her Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification in 2001. She is a graduate of the State University of New York at Potsdam.
